How do I set up a bracket challenge with my friends?
Create a free league, share the invitation link on WhatsApp or wherever your group lives, and everyone picks each tie before it kicks off. Points and standings are worked out for you with every result: nobody keeps score by hand.
Do we fill in the whole bracket before the tournament starts?
No. Each tie opens when its two teams are known, so you pick with the real draw in front of you, round by round, and your bracket builds as the tournament does. Until the knockouts, you predict the group or league phase that leads to them.
Is there any betting?
No. ChampSheep is a free prediction game without betting: no money is staked and there are no cash prizes. You play to finish top of your league's standings.
Is this prediction game free?
Yes. The core football (soccer) prediction game is free. Optional paid memberships add subscriber benefits but never a competitive-points advantage.
What is a league?
A league is a private or public competition you create or join. Everyone in it is ranked by prediction accuracy, so you can see how you stack up against friends, family, coworkers — or the world.
How many leagues can I create?
You can create up to 50 leagues, each with an unlimited number of members.
Is there a limit on how many people can join my league?
No — your league can have as many members as you like.
Do I need to sign up?
Only if you want to create a league and compete with others. You can make your picks on the play page and see who you'd crown champion in your bracket without signing in.
Can I join mid-tournament?
Yes — you can join at any time. You just won't be able to predict matches that have already started.
Will the real knockout stages be available to predict?
Yes. As the tournament progresses and the teams for each stage are confirmed, you'll be able to enter predictions for those matches. All points earned count toward your global score.
